I think it is way too much protein in one meal.
What about the rest of the day? |

The rest of the day is fine. We cut some things out so he could add this in for the mornings.

In my opinion - way too much protein and way too much fat.
You are throwing away half the protein... And a good deal of those fats are going to be shuttled pretty quickly into your adipose (whether or not they stay there will depend on your total diet/training calorie needs etc etc - but still, it is harder to get them out once they are there). ~ ![]() |

We are doing this for 3 weeks I guess. It is to get some weight on, fast. I train on the days that I eat that meal. I am trying to get to 240 before the fight. I am currently at 234

8 eggs and a 6 ounce steak is way too much protein. That's like 100 grams right there.

You looking for sloppy weight just to get to that weight class or functional strength? If its option B 3 weeks is far to short to put on lean mass....but you can easily put that weight on via fat.

Yea. Option A ( sloppy weight ) just to have that extra few lbs now of weight I can throw around.
This is the first time I have actually tried to put sloppy weight on. I guess we're going to see how it goes. He says that these few extra lbs is not really going to effect my endurance. I myself take the standpoint all of you have so far

If you're 234 and need 240 I'd reduce the ammount your eating their; or spread it throughout the day better. You know you could just drink a gallon of water before the weigh in and you'd piss it all out by the time the fight came. I mean a gallon of water is 8 lbs, so just drink it at least a gallon and as much as you can before the fight until you hit 240 on a scale and don't piss before it's time to weigh..
