Mike, not to sound like a pain in the ass, but have you read any of the threads in the diet and nutrition forums? There is A LOT of information in there about dieting... This thread in particular, though perhaps a little strict for beginners, has a lot of helpful information.

Beyond that, what were you doing those three weeks that you say you stayed on a diet? was it working?

What are you eating now (besides expired whey protein)? I saw that you posted about your training in another thread and folks are giving you some feedback there, as well.

A word of advice... there are tons of people on here who can help you but you have to also help yourself. SEARCH through the site, read stickies, read other people's journals. Read other websites, too. Seek information, seek knowledge.

For now, start by posting what you currently eat, and if you have any food allergies or medical conditions or medications that require special dietary needs. That should make it easier for some of us to be able to point you in the right direction...

I think it's a maturity thing. When I was younger, I wasn't committed enough to stay focused and eat more (healthy foods) so I barely gained any weight. Only in these last 2 years have I put on weight.

A great tip is to get into a routine. Routine will help you with your diet.
I love it when a plan comes together.

i agree mrmark- but i need to lose the weight now, i love basketball and athletic stuff, but i am to fat- i would also love to start doing some bodyweight exercises- such as pushups, pullups, and dips- I run so slow, jump so low get out of breath while playing full court basketball, it fukin suks, all i thnk about everyday is losing fat and getting bigger/stronger and i cant even stay on a diet- i cant even do 1 fukin pushup or 1 fukin bodyweight squat or 1 pullup, i gotta stop bitchin and just fukin stick to a good diet, and exercise, and lift.

I wouldn't run if I was you. At such a weight, it might be bad for your knees. Do you have access to a x-trainer, rowing machine, or cycle machine?

The biggest difference you can make, is trying to substitute your snacks for something like an apple, celery etc... Otherwise, you diet seems ok, although maybe eat more veg/fruit.

It looks like crap. It's all protein and you are going to be hungry all the time... which is why you can't stay on a diet.

I would ditch the expired whey shakes all together. You don't need them especially at your age. With the amount of protein you are eating from meat you will be fine. The whey is just going to give you extra calories. You haven't ever lifted so you don't really have extra muscle that will go away from dieting even with a low protein diet. If your goal is just to drop the fat, I would drop the whey for now until you are ready to start building muscle.

Also, even more importantly.... you need to get fruits and vegetables into your diet. Use a site like www.calorieking.com or www.nutritiondata.com and find foods you like that are low in calories. This is the key. Eat lower calorie foods and get variety in there. The diet you listed is going to be extremely hard to stay on because it lacks variety and is all protein (and not enough volume either)

Count your calories and figure out what your maintenance is. Then make it a goal to eat as much low calorie food as you can while still coming in under your maintenance calories. A whole grapefruit is under 100 calories. A cup of sliced strawberries is about 50 calories. An orange... about 75 calories. Half a cup of corn = 75 calories. Half cup of peas = 55 calories. Anyways, you get the idea. Mix it up and eat these clean types of food. Then get in some nuts or natural peanut butter (peanut butter where the ingredients are only peanuts... no oil or sugar or anything) for your essential fats and you will lose a ton. Measure out these foods, you don't need big servings. Eat often with these snacks (or partial meals) being 50-100 calories a day, you can have a lot of them to make up 2000-2200 calories a day.

Obviously stay away from things like cake, candy, juice... this is probably what is killing you. Talk to your parents and let them know what you want to do and what you want to accomplish that way they won't work against you at mealtime.
