Talking My diet motivation sucks..

At home, I can control it, I have my diet planned out and etc...but when im out with friends or at work(restaurent)...i go ahead and eat and think it wont affect me so much but i regret it afterwards. I need to go on a stricter diet, im not losing fat as fast i should be but cause of my work im doing bad.
What's you guys motivation....any ideas on how to stop myself except hitting my head on the wall.

Organization. The only way I can stick to a diet is when I prep everything. Any signs of weakness and I collapse.

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

i have read many many things, here are some things i have listed

-sounds weird but feel an urge coming on to eat somehting bad, clean your teeth, most people HATE eating after they have cleaned they're teeth, weird i know but it could work?

-keep frozen strawberries close if you feel an urge grab one of these it tastes like a frozen ice lolly and is sweet

-Just think the temptation usually only lasts 10 minutes, when you get the temptation if you can wait 10 minutes you have beaten the temptation and not cheated on your diet

-think to yourself if i do eat that everything i have done is going to be a waste and even with that extra effort i put into the workout i still am not going to get rid of some of the negative effects of eating this large plate of french fries soaked in grease

Hope it helps a bit

I'm the exact same way man. Its particularly hard for me on the weekends to stick with it because I've limited myself all week and want to just pig out. But the thing that has gotten me over this is to just imagine how I would feel afterwards, if I go off the diet. I know I'm just gonna regret it, so I just don't do it anymore. Plus, you could also avoid the situation all together. That's what I do, I'll hang with my friends AFTER they've gotten something to eat, that way I don't even get the chance to fuck things up.

Also, maybe set some goals for yourself that you wish to achieve in the near future. For me it's that I am going on vacation in a little under a month and want to looks as good as I can, so there is no way I can afford to cheat on my diet if I wish to accomplish this.

It is def. hard to start out but once you start seeing some results it gets easier from there. When I was on a cut it was hard the first couple weeks but by then I got used to the food and it got easier.

Ya same here. Once you start seein results, it just becomes even more motivation for you to stay with it.

i eat out a couple of times a week with friends and am usually able to find something half way decent even if its a fast food place. Eat a grilled chicken caesar salad or a burger and no fries etc. Or a steak and potato.

if its motivation you lack, just keep at it and after a while it becomes a lifestyle. don't beat yourself up over a couple of fries or whatever, it will not i repeat it WILL NOT break your diet if you eat a couple of fries once or twice a week. once it becomes more frequent then it will be a problem.

if you aren't losing fat, its definitely not having one or two bad meals during the week. hell you eat 6 meals a day, 7 days a week making 42 meals. if 40 of them are clean, well balanced and oriented towards your goals, 2 semi bad meals won't do shit, unless your eating like 10k kcals in each of those meals.

Im sure everyone does, you can cheat on your diet once in awhile but if you do it too much, then you need control. I personally dont drink but I know friends who are cutting and drink about once a week.

Add 30 minutes of cardio, at the end of the day, for EACH cheat you do during that day.

After 90 minutes of jumping rope or pedaling at 1 am, you'll hate yourself enough to avoid the dessert tomorrow

yea, those were insane.....

box of ego waffles topped with:
a bag of candy corn
a banana
ben and jerry's cherry garcia frozen yogurt
maple syrup

after that, I would be so distended I couldn't sit up straight. I would lie on the couch, watch TV and daze in an out of an insulin induced coma.....the only thing waking me up was the volume and smell of the farts coming out of my ass.
