I am an endomorph well i am by no means skinny and not obese either and i was looking at the ratio's to use for bulking, what is your opinion i saw one 50/30/20?? i am unsure how i work this out? so i would have to have e.g 400g carbs,280g of Protein and 80g of fat throughout the day, does that sound right??
I know this is the diet forum but i'll try to slip this one in without anyone noticing, can i still do cardio 3 times a week (3-4 mile run first thing in the morning)
How many more calories should i be over my RMR in order to bulk succesfully?
I think thats about it,i will carry on reading and see if i can think of anything else then i will proceed with making a diet
Thanks
Chris

Although ratios can give you a basic guidelines I would calculate your requirements off your lean mass/weight instead.Originally Posted by Martinogdenbsx
But yes, for bulking, if you do not have any glucose tolerance issues, then higher carbs (~50%) is usually helpful.... Protein requirements will depend on your lean mass [Get 1-1.25g protein per pound (or up to 1.5g per lean mass)] then you add fats (aim for something ~0.4-0.5g per pound).
You can - but it may hinder results... I would suggest you cut down the length... And at least make sure you eat before hand...I know this is the diet forum but i'll try to slip this one in without anyone noticing, can i still do cardio 3 times a week (3-4 mile run first thing in the morning)
Start at ~10% more... Wait for ~2-3 weeks. If you do not see a change, increase by a further 10%.How many more calories should i be over my RMR in order to bulk succesfully?
