    Smile Protein intake for intermediate

    Hello All,

I am new to this forum. I am just over 170 pounds, working out four/five times a week (for about a year and a half). Recently I have started using protein shakes, twice a day, to get in an extra 50g of protein. However, I am having problems getting to 170 grams of protein (the rule 1gram for every pound). My total daily intake at the moment is about 130-150 grams.

Any suggestions on how to boost this/do i need to? I am eating more tuna and chicken than i know what to do with.

Like I say, I am new so first off, 'hi', and second, any help MUCH APPRECIATED.

if you can post your diet it would help but there are a few things you can do

-How many scoops you having in your shakes?
-3 eggs scrambled 1 whole 2 whites should give you about an extra 21g of Protein
-Cottage cheese before bed for your Casein fix
    -Walnuts?Unsalted peanuts to snack on?

There are loads of things to eat just give it a bit of thought and PLAN.

    Hope this helps
