Well folks, it is time for my annual fishing trip with my dad and all his old buddies. We will be gone for 5 days. That means I will be out of the gym for that long, probably eating kind of crappy food and also drinking some beer.
I take a lot of pride in my work I do in the gym. I know this is really going to bother me taking almost a week off from lifting. I know that it’s REALLY going to bother me that I will be eating food I shouldn’t be and also drinking more than I should. I really watch my diet a fair share and I hardly drink. I kind of get depressed a little when I think about the time and hard work I’ve put in at the gym and my training sessions, yet I will drink a little and eat badly. I’m looking for any advice you could give me on feeling decent about my time with my dad and enjoying my trip without being overly concerned about my diet and such. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
Oh yeah, what would be “better” to drink, beer or rum & diet?
But whatever in the sceem of things this is 5 days out of 365 in a year. Go enjoy, rejuvenate and come back rested and ready to go
I agree. Months of progress aren't going to be wiped out in one week. I feel the same way if I miss a day of working out but thats life. Have a good time and catch some fish!
