I usually don't take in as many carbs on my non-workout days, probably about half,,, I keep my protein level the same - that's about it.
should it be the same as normal days? (protein shakes etc..)

It really depends on what type of diet you are following (eg: carb cycling, bodyopus, linear, zig-zig, TKD, CKD, UD2)... All of these will have set intakes for different days.Originally Posted by vanessa5691
But in most cases I usually suggest a lower intake on non-workout days (both calories and carbs).
Most people will usually achieve this by leaving out their PWO shake but keep the rest of the meals about the same as on workout days.
