I have gone through about 2 boxes (48 cookies) in 2 weeks. They taste unbelievable. And each cookies has 11 g of protein! The only thing I'm concerned about is that the first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup, which I hear is a no-no. Are these a quality bodybuilding product?

That's cute...ya, 48 in two weeks because I considered them a "healthy candy". Kind of like the Oh Yeah! bars or the Waferpro bars.

OMG, you eat sooo much of that crap....
You can't just make a shake or something (my new habit = veggie shakes)

I have one Nitrotech shake and one WheyBreezer shake per day, but I really like cookies and thought these were a healthy alternative.
Is there anything good about them for a bodybuilder, or are they a joke?

joke
a couple of cookies here and there won't kill you, but as your yourself have said, high fructose corn syrup is the first ingredient on the list meaning by weight it is the most used ingredient in the food which means its not good all. 48 cookies in two weeks is a little overkill unless you were a sedentaty, medically obese individual who is just starting to clean up their diet.

If HFCS is the main cause for alarm, then just go with the chocolate chip version of the cookie. according to the chef jay website, it doesn't have HFCS.Originally Posted by Yanick
although quite honestly, for the obscene amount of calories you're packing in with these cookies (and no offense, going by your photos you can use all the calories you can stuff down your gullet!), you should make some more nutrient-ense choices and leave these cookies for a dessert, a treat or a situation where you can't get a real meal.
Jeez. you're gobbling down these cookies AND in addition to that, shakes. do you ever eat real food? how about making your own bars or cookies? this very website and a few others are not short on healthy recipes for such.
I have tried the protein oatmeal bars, they're ok...and I make meatloaf and beef/chicken/turkey jerky at least 3 times a week (those are my favourite foods). But I hate cooking, and my mom doesn't cook, so it's easier to find healthy foods that are already made for me.

Thanks Jodi, but he's right, I am lazy. That's why I try and eat the most nutrient dense ready made foods![]()
