in need of some good advice

Hi! I am 23 years old Im 6.3" and i weight 180 pounds more or less.
I have read pretty much most of the threads in this section and i think i have a good idea of what to eat. i did the math on my calories and it says i should take 3220. and I understand that i am suppose to take 1g. of protein for every pound. im getting a 8 week routine from a book by Bill Pearl called getting stronger and is suppose to be for body building(now i dont know how good this is or if it works. any comments feel free to shoot). i also read about the nutrition part in it. BUT i was wondering if there is any one that could just give a short example of what they eat in a day. by this i mean the amount and the type of meal. I would appreciated very very much. thanx for ur help guys.

p.s. i am asking for this as i couldnt find a good example of a normal half the way decent eating habits... and i dont think i could even try or think about eating 9000 calories LOL... well maybe if im S***faced.

So without mentioning calories (because my intake is only 1400 a day) I can give a quick breakdown. Another thing would be to look at the online journals. Lots of people post the breakdown of each meal in their journals.

    Meal 1:
    1 Whole Egg
    6 Whites
    Spinach
    Onion
    L/F Cheese (sometimes)
    Fish Oil Caps
    Oats

    Meal 2:
    Protein Shake
    Fish Oil/Flax
    Grapefruit

    Meal 3:
    Mixed Greens
    Tuna
    Zucchini
    Olive Oil/Vinegar
    Avocado

    Meal 4:
    Protein Shake
    Fish Oil/Flax

    Meal 5: (PWO)
    Yogurt
    Whey
    Oats

    Meal 6:
    Salmon
    Mixed Greens
    olive oil
    ACV

    Heres ny current diet.

    Meal 1
    12 egg whites
    oats
    multi vitamin

    Meal 2
    Protein drink
    fruit

    Meal 3
    chicken breast
    broccoli

    Meal 4
    protein drink
    multi vitamin

    Meal 5
    Salmon (grilled)
    Broccoli

    Meal 6
    10 egg whites

Drink water or some crystal light with meals.
No soda. Atleast 3 liters of water a day. Of course right now I am trying to cut. So if you want to add some calories throw in some more chicken breasts and instead of just egg whites eat a few yolks to.

    Good luck hope it helps

I dont even drink gatorade. Theres still alot of sugar in gatorade. Just start reading labels and you will be able to see. Dont forget a gatorade thats like 24 ounces will have 3 servings which will be around 45grams of sugar which is as much as a 12 ounce can of soda.
