    No more bananas!

Due to the cyclones damaging the banana crops earlier this year, bananas are very expensive here in Australia.

What would be the best replacement for a banana in a PWO shake/meal? Dried apricots? Any opinions welcome.

Hahaha, i guess Starbucks is not going to be seling their new banana concoctions down under?

what about mango, fig, prune, pineapple?

I guess if you're going for texture - mangoes or papayas or something like that might work. If you're just going for carbs/sugar content... those along with most dried/sweetened fruit could work...

    oats & berries.

the oats will grind up well- makes the shake thicker, berries for natural sweetness.
