    midnight drink whey or casein

Say I want to start drinking a protein drink in the middle of the night to support anabolism.

1 hour before bed, I usually take a casein drink of 20g of protein, with no fat. I want to drink a 40g protein/5g fat (flax) combo in the middle of the night so that I can put on 12 (theoretical) lbs of lean muscle in one year.

Which should be taken first, the whey or casein and has anyone done this and what kind of results have you had? Also, can this 12 lbs be done in a year with this idea?

I would think Casein should be taken in the middle of the night so that it lasts the rest of the night, or most of the rest of the night. But thats just my 2 cents.
