You can get steamed rice, steamed veggies and chicken. That's really good and it's healthy. Watch out for anything fried and stay away from the calorie ladened sauces.

So how did your meal go tonight? Just curious, was it a Chinese-American restaurant or was it authentic Chinese hot dish cuisine?

I love authentic Chinese and I always get the same dish: mustard (vegetable) black bean beef chow fun or seafood chowfun. No table sugar or syrup added, has some sodium, noodles are high GI, but it wouldn't be chowfun if it weren't for the thin rice noodles.

California has all the good cafes. Here in the midwest, every Chinese restaurant is American influenced. I have a rule: I only eat at a Chinese restaurant if at the entrance, they have tanks of live and fresh lobsters and crabs. That's how you tell if it's the real deal and not a banana restaurant.

I failed miserably, it was all authentic chinese food, the only thing I did right was have diet soda. There was a set menu, and my Mum thought it best my cousin picked the best food. Gonna be extra clean tomo to make up for it.

Yeah true, I have really struggled to stick with a strict lean bulk diet for months. It sucks that I am so skinny.
