Carb/Fat/Protein

What is the order in which the body burns them?....

The body burns glycogen at the site of the muscle first, then liver glycogen, then if exercising, you posess certain enzymes that convert carbs to glucose and then glycogen more quickly. This comes next if you ingest carbs or actually any food while exercising!

Then depending how your body works, as it breaks down LBM which happens during the W/O, it can convert these amino acids to glucose in the liver and then glycogen, hence catabolism.

Some will oxidize fat, the FFA's (free fatty acids) will in turn be converted to glucose, then glycogen in the liver for fuel, this is known as lipolysis!

Your body will also look to the lactic acid accummlulation for fuel also. it is quite a bit more complicated than this, but I hope this will do!

Ah, but this changes if you're in ketosis or if you're a "fat burner".
