nutritional values

Anyone know a good free website that lists all the nutritional values of foods? I used to use Cyberdiet, but they charge for it now.

I use Fitday.com

It works pretty good cause you can also customize it. You can keep a log too which I find useful. There is also webmd.com but I didn't care for that one too much.

Is easily the best site IMO.

i really like fitday.com too.

has most things in there but you can add your own stuff (like your protein powder etc). and it saves it to your list of custom foods. for instance my flax and whipping cream and frozen shrimp and turky burgers all come with the nutritional info on the packages and it varies a bit from what's in the database. so i added them in. really good and free. check it out!

Yeah, I have my Vivonic fitness software too, but I'm kind of weary of installing it on my work PC. I had it on my PC at my old job, but when I lost my job there, I lost all my data.

The initial setup takes a little while because you end up adding all kinds of your won custom foods, but it's worth the effort IMO. Once you get the setup out of the way, maintenance isn't that bad at all. You can add all the custom foods and exercises you want, and having something like that helps keep you motivated day after day.

I have the PC software and my wife has the little unit. The PC software is easier to use, but the unit is portable (obviously). I believe there is also a version for your PDA (Palm Pilot) if you have one.
