    after workout

    MEAL #3

    8 oz. plain yogurt(plain)

    MEAL #4

    1/2 cup brown rice
    8 oz. sirloin steak

    8 oz. sirloin steak
I would of thought that wasn't a good idea on a strict cut

replace it with chicken breasts or fish ... also u have to cut carbs on your pre bed meal ..though u just have 4 meals , if u can make them 5 meals with a no carb prebed meal , if not decrease carbs on your fourth meal and eat it at least 3 hours before sleep.......

yep it's a no on the steak,as assasin said replace with chicken breast/turkey breast or other lean protein

I would say start cutting out carbs from 6 onwards, you don't want it to be stored as fat!when do you do your workouts as if it is late in the evening you can have carbs after that

    Try and keep portions small

Ah just seen ur workout is in the morning,i would have a protein shake and a banana for your simple carbs straight away then have a meal an hour or two later cus having a large meal directly after a workout may leave you feeling a little ill

Meal 3 i would say drop the yogurt IMHO and add a sweet potato to the salmon salad, the salad is good to fill you up and is pretty much carb free ,you need EFA's though so maybe a bit of avacodo?or flax capsule??

meal 2 i would drop the 2 scoops of protein and put that after the workout as explained above, you can move meal 2 an hour or two before your workout then have 1 scoop of protein before the gym and a small amount of complex carbs such as oats for energy it's up to you

    Hope this helps

what does EFA stand for? and the flax oil capsule or alvacado would be w/ meal 3 then.

also i'm from new orleans and i love my shrimp i got 3 bags...is it ok to add 4 or 5 in there somewhere? prefered in the salad...and is there another fish i can eat just as good as salmon?

as long as your protein needs are between 1-2g per lb of bodyweight there wouldn't be a need to drink them, use them to SUPPLEMENT and bring your protein intake upto the required level

Personally i would take the flax etc in the morning

sorry i never used caps ... i don't know how much u would need .... but don't depend totally on caps ... always use supplements to complete your real foods intake ...same for shakes ..... u may take 1 after your workout and the other one ..at any time during the day to complete your daily intake ... i prefer it when i wake up in the morning.....
