    Too much Tuna!

As I mentioned in my log, it's tough to down two cans of tuna at a time! Holy shit. Gets old fast! But, I'm already tired of steak, chicken and getting to about that point with tuna... running out of affordable protein sources. Looks like Turkey is up next

Try the foil packs of tuna instead. Better quality tuna plus it takes a ton better

Foil packs of tuna? You don't mean fresh tuna?!

Tinned (canned) tuna is the only really cheap source it would seem......But there is nothing more nice than a huge fresh tuna steak !!

I had the same problem, i cant eat the shit any more. My best tip would be to chuck it on some mountainbread with a shit load of salad, cottage cheese and avacado to drown the taste.

I eat it on 10-12 Cracked Wheat crackers. They're cheap and can be found at Wal-Mart. I get the tuna from Sam's Club, it's the Solid White and it comes in 10-packs for about $8. A little salt and pepper, sometimes relish...I like it.

Edit: I also keep the cans in the fridge. I know they don't need to be, but I like it to be cold when I eat it. I'm not sure if other people do this, but maybe it will help you.

Cut out the albacore, it has uber high levels of mercury in it.

    What will mercury do?

Edit: Googled this...Maybe it won't do any damage at all? http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/admehg3.html

"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are advising women who may become pregnant, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and young children to avoid some types of fish and eat fish and shellfish that are lower in mercury."

Wouldn't touch fresh or tinned(canned) Albacore with a barge pole, it tastes bloody awful in comparison to (the cheaper) darker coloured tinned tuna.

I dislike the taste of tuna out of the can/bag/sea/whatever. So I have been mixing Natty PB in it to mask the tuna flavor. Well I was out of PB. I had some natty Almond butter. So I used that this week. Not bad at all. I think I will use it in lieu of PB from now on with just a little splenda.

Hey Pep, I used to do the same. I am now a try it first then decide kind of guy now. I tried FF Cottage cheese and salsa last week. That was quite good as well. Of course I think the taste of CEE is not all that bad either - just scoop into mouth and wash down with some H2O.
