    I'm sick Now what?

Ok right now I am sicker then a dog. Last 2 days all I have done is sleep. I can pretty much guarantee that the next few days will be like this as well.

Currently my trainer has me on what he calls a Power program, It's designed soley for the purpose of gaining power in my upper bodyand it's very intense. I go 3x a week and we are 3 weeks in and I will probably miss the next couple of appointments.

So what do I eat? My metabolism has slowed right down cause all I do is sleep or lie in bed watching tv. Moving around is not an option. I am bed ridden.

Do I eat the same as before or do i cut my calorie intake bacause I am not lifting? How much Muscle mass will I lose due to just lying around? Any advice?

If you just laid around and did nothing for say, 3-4 days, I dont think you'd lose any muscle mass. And ya you should cut your calories by a lot cuz your not burning any.

Some things I'd recomend is eating plenty of fresh fruits and greens for the vitamins, minerals, and living enzyms- no medicine. Also I'd keep drinking tons of water.

Here's another tip to not get sick again. Do full body stretches in the monring so that disease can't build up.

Refrain for listening to any of the above comments execpt eating fruit, greens, drink water, and taking you multi.

First and foremost take the proper meds that were giving to you, second keep water intake increased, and keep cals as they were to prior to getting sick while your movement may be decreased, your immunesystem and its macrophages are working overtime to eat up those pathogens.

Pretend you never read that if you want to get healthier. As far as changes to your diet goes, you should be eating less caleries cuz you aint doing anything. Also less meat is a good idea cuz it aint gonna help brining your body temprature down.

I dunno, I just made it up....

Just kidding. I read the stretcthing part in a book called Natural Cures, and the idea is just as it says, if your body is flexible and ample, then energy flows better and disease can't build up. As for eating meat, everyone knows that if you eat a lot of it it increases your metablolism. When your sick that's the last thing you want, so eat less of it makes sense since your body temperature is higher than normal.

Pyrogens raise body temperature to kill the infectous disease, the only possible reasoning about stretching could be improved blood flow.

I think by lowering cals you are nurtitionally compromising yourself. Any food you eat will have a thermo effect but to say meat raises it more but I don't personally. I refrain from dairy just because it seems to increase mucus production in myself, I don't have scientific prove to back it up, just personal experence.

You don't need a lot of cals if your just lying in bed all day. And calories have no nutrition, fruits and greens do, that's why you should eat more of that.

Throw that book out of the window right now, and learn some common sense, the guy that writes and sells that book is the biggest scam artist alive and deserves to be killed. Wow you really believe in alot of conspiracies. I bet just because the guy in the informercial said that the fcc does not want you to know about these cures you picked up the phone and ordered right away. Please go learn some commen sense.
