    Visit to the doctor

Today i went to the doctor and have my bodyfat measure and heart rate and so on.I have been from 18 to 16 percent in about 5 weeks
he said my progress was good, so i told hime i eat 5 meals a day,and asked if i can lose bodyfat still eating 3 meals.
he said most likely and that eating more frequently has not been proven to be as effective as a simple 3 meals.
so my question is can you still lower your bodyfat with 3 meals instad of 5 or 6?

For the most part doctors know shit all about nutrition. This is a case, where it is proven. Stick to your 5-6 meals a day. Eating more frequently keeps your metabolism reving.

As long as you are not eaten too many calories you should continue to make good progress.

You doctor is giving you information based on *standard* medical guidelines for proper diet and nutrition. That's what he gets paid to do and most will not give you any *specialized* diet information unless your condition warrants it (i.e. diabetes) However, if your doctor is built like a bodybuilder, and has such a physique, then ask him if he takes in only 3 squares a day.

To make it simple- go to your gym and talk to as many lean, ripped BB's as you can. Their diet is what brings them those results. Ask them how many daily meals they take in and nearly 100% will tell you meals every 2-3 hours.
But go ahead and ask them yourself and tally the results. Report back to the forum on what they tell you.
