    A little help here.

Where I work, the management are giving our rest room to another dept with the next 12 weeks, and i was wondering about my diet as I microwave my chicken/ beef/ rice/ potatoes etc etc u get the idea, in the rest room. The cafeteria food is ok. They go salads around midday, but the chicken portions are cooked until the chicken is dry and you have to literally peel it off the bone. Theres ham ( not healthy I know), or cottage cheese/tuna/ egg mayo at around 50p for 1/2 a cup, and there is no way I am going to pay £1.50 for a bowl of salad and then another £1.50 for the protein to go with it.

The rest room bein given away means we wont have access to a fridge either, and I've tried carryin a cool box before, but it became a pain in the ass carryin it back home again and finding space for it on the bus.

    Any ideas?

In the UK rest room must mean a lunch room because here in the US when we say rest room we are using the bathroom Keeping your food in the bathroom would just be wrong!

You don't have much option other than carrying a cooler with you. I get those cloth ones that can hold 12 cans of soda and they come with slots to hold ice packs. They are easier to carry than your typical cooler. They look like a large lunch cooler.

I got a coolbag, which can hold about 8 2 litre bottles of water, but after a while it makes my back ache. I want to get a smaller one, buts there are only ones that can hold either one lunch box or 16 ltrs of water.

i dun understand how they can just give away your lunch room for 12 weeks.

but as jodi said, just get a cooler and deal with it. BB'ing means sacrifice.

an idea could be to have non-perishable food for the next 12 weeks, ie nuts, seeds, oats, fruits, protein powder, tuna in a can (drain and eat) etc.

If you don't like the cooler bag idea, buy a mini fridge. Their not that expensive and they kick ass. I have one in my room nxt to my bedside! (-:

Plus if your damn management are moving the room where you eat, ask them to buy you a fridge for the hassle they have caused you.
Cow Pimp - If you don't train your legs you're a dumbfuck. I'm not going to elaborate on why. If it isn't obvious to you, then you deserve the marginal results that you get and hideously unbalanced/injury prone physique that you will build.

Like the others mentioned, it will be a nuisance at first. You should become used to more often however. It also seems like you will be able to control your diet more as well, bringing your own food.
Could be a turn for the better, even though it is inconvenient.

U misunderstand me. They are giving the room away in 12 weeks for good, the other department are taking over the room because at the moment they workers have to eat in their office, and we all signed a contract saying ' you will work 8 hrs without a break if required'. They only thing we have to have in access to hot water, which is available in the canteen/ on the wards.
