sound good?

right now i'm trying to cut....i weigh 172 lbs
i am using the 50p/30c/20f scale
each day i strive for:

with out cardio: 2250cal, 202 carbs, 286 protein, 32g fat
with cardio: 2600 cal, 250carbs, 306 protein, 35gfat (i take a protein shake after cardio)

i easily can make my daily protein requirements cause i eat 2 8oz of chicken each day....which those 2 meals alone is 144g of protein.

I think I would try to up the protein to around 350g(2g/lb bodyweight) and supplement with glutamine to help perserve the muscle mass you have!

Hi there Jeremy

Your numbers are a little off.....at 50/30/20 & 2250 cals you should be getting 281 g protein, 168 carbs & 50 grams fat; and at 2600 cals you should be getting 325 gram protein, 195 carb & 57 gram fat.

So, since you're not even getting 20% of your calories from fat I'd say your diet is lacking in fats. But this is really going to depend on how accurate you've been logging

Is it possible for you to add a typical days diet?

And can you tell us how old you are, how long you've been training & your purpose for the cardio (if other than to lose fat).
