CAn't Stop eating bigA@@ meals. need help!!

man, I just can't force myself nomore to eat smaller meals. I did for 2-3 months, upped my metabloism and lost my belly. Now my metabolism is back to shits, and my gut is gross looking again.

I know the answer is simple, : just eat smaller meals, it's up to you! blah blah blah. I know that, but is there any other things you guys do to keep meal size in check? some form of mediation, or pre-meal ritual?

small meals never satisfy meal, so I just pig out, and eat 2-3x a day now.

forman: ill try that

my stomach sticks out as far as my chest now. Which makes my chest looks smaller. I hate that look.

I ask because if you drop your calories to much out of the gate you:

a) leave yourself no where to go in the future

and

b) will feel a lot more hungry and a lot less satisfied

I would "get into" counting calories.

You could load up on some fibrous veggies at eat meal to help control satiety. I don't even count vegetables in my calorie figures since they are primarily fiber and a small amount of protein (Save for veggies like carrots, which do have a significant number of carbs in them). However, they will go a long way in moderating the digestion of food and help to keep you satisfied until your next meal that's planned.

Also, I do recommend counting calories if you really want to stay that lean.

Load up on veggies to fill you up. Also what kind of carbs are you eating? Stick to complex(slow burning) ones. Make sure that you are also getting fats spread out adequately in each meal. And as mentioned above, start counting cals.

yea, Loading up on veggies first sounds like a good idea. Ill try that.

man, counting calories is a bitch. I did it for two days, then got lazy and quit. I"m just your average gym-goer though, counting calories might be a little overkill for me. If i do rough estimates, watch the scale and BF %, I think I should be good to hit my goals.

I wouldn't mind upping myself from 170 to 180 though, but my more important goal is to stay lean. Eat 5-6 small meals and stay under 10%. I started out around 23-24%, down close to 15% now.

Also, which carbs are complex? i'm guessing it will help control satiety?

Yea I hate having to worry about every little thing when counting calories.

It gets too scientific and makes me feel burnt out real quick on the whole dietary front.
