30-50% of total fat shoudl be monounsaturated fats
And don't forget your fish oil pills, 6-9 per day (omega 3 fatty acids)
Just to make clear,, I think I may already know the answer to this question but wanted to double check..
I need to loose about 35LBS(gained in one year believe it or not).. How much fat should be placed into my diet- Because I know your body will take from the stored fat inplace - But I know you need some of the good fats,, not sure how much I should take.

thats soo weird.. I lost alot of weight with out using fish oil pills....66Lbs(went from 280 to 214) and never really used them,,, just a bunch of chkn. but your telling me if the I use take 6-9 per day,,, it will help me loose weight faster?

You probably lost weight cause you were fairly overweight (just an assumption from what you have listed) and in eating less calories then you need to maintain your old weight.
There is some thought that EFA's help with the metabolism, But the remark was really with regards to that, it was just that you probably have neglected fats in your diet. All three macros are critical to feeding a healthy body.
