Ok ...Fat intake??

Just to make clear,, I think I may already know the answer to this question but wanted to double check..

I need to loose about 35LBS(gained in one year believe it or not).. How much fat should be placed into my diet- Because I know your body will take from the stored fat inplace - But I know you need some of the good fats,, not sure how much I should take.

As low as .3 x your bodyweight and as high as .6 x your bodyweight.
Sat fat no higher than 10% of total
30-50% of total fat shoudl be monounsaturated fats
And don't forget your fish oil pills, 6-9 per day (omega 3 fatty acids)

Yup, 6-9 per day. You need more fat than I think you actually realize

You probably lost weight cause you were fairly overweight (just an assumption from what you have listed) and in eating less calories then you need to maintain your old weight.

There is some thought that EFA's help with the metabolism, But the remark was really with regards to that, it was just that you probably have neglected fats in your diet. All three macros are critical to feeding a healthy body.

Here is some info on EFA's from the stickies http://www.ironmagazineforums.com/sh...49&postcount=4 (Guide to Cutting, Bulking & Maintenance)

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.
