quit listening to friends
One of my friends told me earlier today that taking creatine was pointless because it dehydrates you so much... you ahve to drink about 2x the amount of water that you usually do, and since im trying to lose weight he told me that i should get this N02 whey protein powder.. replace it as my lunch, with a little food and it eats fat and supplies muscles.. is this true?
im sorry .. i need one of those Diet/Nutrition Book For Dummies.
thanks for the help
I assume your goal of losing weight isn't to simply get a lower number on the scale, but to lose bodyfat. Is that right?
So whats the problem is you are losing bodyfat but retaining a bit of water?
No Milk, no.
Milk is for babies. When you grow up, you have to drink beer.
Please read and comment on my journal
Start by reading the stickies.
If your goal is weight loss, creatine isn't going to do anything for you.
Food is better than protein powder in almost all cases, one exception being right after you work out. If your lunch is the problem, replace it with a healthier lunch. But I'd bet that your problem what you eat throughout the whole day, not just at lunch.
Read the stickies.
a) do some research on supplements you are going to be taking. don't just start pouring stuff down your throat.
b) creatine is a great supplement but it may not be the right supplement for you at this time.
c) i wouldn't listen to your friend anymore. they sound like they are really un-informed.
