Protein.
This topic is discussed quite often, and casein (slow digestive proteins) are always ideal. Have some protein rich food before bed to keep feeding your body.
How come the small meal? Watching the weight? Or just not a big appetite? In either case, a casein shake could do you well. They are fairly inexpensive, and have the same protein contained in cottage cheese (minus the taste, of course).
Just my opinion, but I wouldn't take a shake that consist of more than 0.35L (1 big glass max). Drinking more than that might wake you up because you have to go to the bathroom or just hamper your sleep. Maybe it's just because I suffer from insomnia, but I think it's something to note.
where can I get this casien shake u gusy talka bout...where I get my regular whey portien???????
Yes. If you choose to go that route, casein blends are easy to come by. Keep an eye out for "PM" and "Night-time" keywords; they can lead you to the casein products. Just make sure casein proteins are included, in case it is a blend. Check out a search for "casein" here and I bet you will come up with at least a half dozen powders that can suit you.
