    The shakes are fine.

Yogurt, skim Milk, oat bran, berries... come to mind for having in a shake.

Make your way to the calorie calculator tool to figure out a ballpark of how many calories your burn a day, and make sure you get seperate figures for training days and non-training days. With that you can plan your meals more effectively.

A note you should pay attention to though is don't skimp on your first meal for the day, make sure it's loaded with clean burning carbs and try and have it be the majority calorie meal if any. With your shakes being in-between meals make sure they have the same healthy balance of carbs fat and protein as your other meals. The shift you want to make in the balance should be carbs in the morning, protein mid-day, and fat at night. Healthy fats are the best for slow burning energy needed when you're asleep. Carbs are the best in the morning 'cause they fuel you for the rest of the day.

If you want to get cut then you're going to need to be very active throughout the day and make sure the protein you're using is low-carb, low-calorie. You don't want your scoop or two of protein powder to make up over half the calories in your shake. Mixing in things like berries and fruit are a good way to get sugar for energy in your shakes too.

Don't forget about your EFA's also. Also, the leaner you get, you may want to cut our your dairy as well. I would put vege's in with your protein's and throw in some rice or yams. Just as long as your macros are where you want them to be, you're all good.
