    Ummmmmmm

You can't lose any muscle in 5-6 days if you are eating. It's all in your head just keep at it and don't worry about your pump.

You explained it as you said it. After you train the muscle is pumped from blood, then after when you eat it absorbs more water and nutrients, giving it larger size, once it's repaired it doesn't need this water etc so it falls back abit. Stupid question, you can't lose muscle that fast and you can't maintain a post-workout pump forever, who cares?

I'm a newbie... I can relate to what Makram's saying, but also know you guys are right.

But, it's 'contending' to feel that post-workout "body fullness" all the time. You're not any larger - you just feel your body.

BTW - Can anyone explain the muscle healing processes (in stages) involved in post workouts? Why is "second-day" soreness more pronounced?
