what do you do with rice and pasta?

Hi i am really cleaning up my diet!

If i eat a portion of protein, veggies and rice what do you suggest to flavour this type of meal.

I am thinking of ways to make rice or pasta more tasty and not so dry.

I am a bugger for packet sauces....my imagination is lacking

Lemon or lime sprinkled on steamed broccoli tastes pretty good. (both are very high alkine by the way)

You don't really need anything to flavor the rice, you just gotta make sure the meat is flavored good and not dry.
    Good Day
