    leaning out without loosing size

    Whats going on everyone,

If you could give me some advise on a diet and workout routine I would greatly appreciate it.

Im a 20 year old college student, I am 5'7 and weigh 178 right now and according to this bodyfat scale I just bought, I am at 23 percent bodyfat.
Most of the fat I put on goes to my midsection and glutes... I would like to loose the stomach and ass and get down to a lean 165. Could you guys help me out with this... for supplements, I have a bunch of whey protein, vitamins, and PM whey. I want to loose a bunch of fat, and then begin to bulk up to be a lean 165-170.. can you guys help me out with a routine and nutrition as far is calorie intake and foods to avoid?

Please take a look at the stickies at the top of the Diet and Nutrition Stickies. Use the info to educate yourself about nutrition and develop a plan that works within your schedule.

Once you have that post it, and we will be glad to help out.

alright so here it is chaps.

i eat 3-4 meals a day with snacks imbetween(natty pnutbutter, no sugar addes jam, grain bread)... i drink skim milk... for breakfast i've been eating hard boiled eggs, 6 whites and 1 whole, with cereal and fresh fruits..

lunch I've been getting wraps with turkey, tunafish, or chicken, lettuce tomato and a little oil and vinegar. 2-4 big glasses of gatorade generally or water.

Dinner I always get a salad with blue cheese dressing, sometimes with grilled chicken when they have it. usually with some veggies.. i also have a fruit or 2 along with the healthiest meat they're serving... along with some more gatorade of skim milk.

i work out monday-friday, warmup for 15 on the elliptical, followed by..

    M- chest
    T- Bi's and Back
    W-Legs, Abs, cardio
    Th- Shoulders and Traps
    Fri- Triceps

followed by a run on the elliptical...

    any ideas now?
    T-

Your diet is really poor. Please check out the stickies.

Seems extremely low in Cals you may want to figure it out, most people don't realize they are eating so little.

You are eating too much bread and drinking way to much gatorade.

Asshole? Maybe so, but at least I'm smart enough to read the stickies like the moderator said (twice at this point!) instead of trying to get someone plan out my diet and exersise routine because I'm too lazy to do my homework... Gatorade is full of sugar, which is why you don't want it if your trying to lose weight. Drink water, coffee, tea, maybe some crystal light... Now where did I read that... O yeah, it was in the stickies!
