    apples

    1. does anyone know about how much fiber is in an apple?

    2. I don't like there texture so sometimes I will boil them, will this makee them lose ay of there nutrients (vitamins, fiber, sugar)

    why do you care for hw much fiber , they are a very healthy food and that's enough....

    yea I am still going to eat them, but I need to know how much fiber is in it, because I want get about 30 grams a day.

    3 fucking grams! and it doesnt even have tham much vitamins? then what the hell are so good about them? I thought I saw somebody say they have about 10-15 grams!? lol

    if you divide them by 4-6 meals per day that will just be 5-7 grams per meal

    Probably in refference to the mercury content currently found in almost all types of fish available in any form.

    So deadly? Um, mercury isn't good, that's for sure, but if you live in a big city I would be more worried about what the air you breathe does to your body than what some canned tuna would.

    I eat tons of tuna, and live in a big city... I'm probably doomed.
    On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

    isn't near 100% of the fibre in the skin and core? suits me fine because i consume the core and seeds too - in fact the seeds are my favourite bit.

    I should try that. I like kiwi and pineapple skin, so this can't be that bad.

    Also, mike, apples are good for other reasons previously mentioned. First of all, they are very low GI. It's an excellent carbohydrate if you are looking to control your insulin levels (As you should). It's also very practical in that it's portable, quick to eat, and tastey!
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    I rarely eat apples these days. Wether it's good or bad, I'm really into pineapple right now. I think I should add some back into my diet, however.

    I live in cairo Wich is the second most air poluted city on the planet so probably i wont' ever be worried about these simple issues lol
