I make protein pancakes, that are lower in carbs. I try to stay away from that Aunt Jemima stuff though. Look at the recipe section there are lots of good healthy recipes there that are better alternatives.

It depends on your goals. There are certainly better ways to get your carbohydrate and fats, but if you're bulking, you can work it in without too many harsh consequences. If you keep your pancakes low fat you can have them post workout for a hi-GI carb to have with your whey/protein source.
