    Question about my cheat day

So Ive been doing my 5 day a week work out with my EC... just ephedrine and caffeine twice daily.... eating 1300-1400 cals of the right foods...
i have one cheat day a week....I eat about 1800 that day well this is what I ate

B-two whole wheat bread and two eggs

    l-slice of pizza

    -couple crackers

-3 cookies...bad:S but hey its my cheat day!

d- I felt bad about the pizza even though its my cheat day and ate a couple gummies for dinner... lol and then maybe snack on a couple crackers.. and a diet hot chocolate?

I dont like to go crazy on my cheat days just nibble on desirable foods...is 1800-2000 too many cals for the cheat day? A bodybuilder from my gym said he has cheat days once a week and its good for shedding pounds because it kickstarts your metabolism true?

Only you can know what you can get away with...

I can get away with 1-2 cheat days like you described per week, and still feel ok. Others might have one cheat meal a month.

I think cheat days are good because they prevent me from going insane and having a cheat month, or a cheat year.

On another note, if youre eating 1400 cals a day to lose weight, then 1800 should be approximately the amount of calories it takes to maintain your weight, right? So it's not like you're making backward progress, just stopping progress for a day... at least in terms of weight loss.

if that is all u ate it isnt bad at all lol....

i dont relaly have cheat DAYS but i cheat like 4-6 times a week and its way worse than that. i usually eat one dirty meal a day and its no big deal, unless u have to make weight or have to perform atheltically.

From what i have read in the stickies, I thought the whole point of a cheat day was to:

    A. Replenish your Leptin levles by easting lots of carbs (mainly the simple sort) so that on your low cal days your body does not go into starvation mode, and to

    B. Act as a psychological reward for lowering cal intake on the low cal days

Unless you are doing it for a different reason. I dont think it matters how much you eat on a cheat day (whithin reason) as the whole purpose is to overload your leptin levles.

But by all means correct me if i am wrong
    WHY?.....

Because life was'nt meant to be easy

I have one cheat day a week and eat whatever I want on that day. I have lost 51 pounds of fat and added muscle mass during that span. Cheat days are good for many reasons...
