food content

Hi all
Quick question for anyone if i had 100gs of chicken with 20gs of protien and i wanted to reduce it to say 75gs of chicken how would i work out the protien content for the 75gs?

cross muliplying is my favorite.

easier to explain in person. so we'll do this method...

100% is 20 grams.
75% is ___ grams.

X = .75 * 20
X= 15 grams

100gs =20gs of protien i want 75% so 75% x 20 = 15gs is that right?

keep in mind tho, if you were using different #'s than 100 and 75 grams, your percentages would be different. (just for future reference)
