Isn't that stuff loaded with sodium if I'm not mistaken. I'd probably avoid that on a cut.

Full of nitrites and nitrates. It's crap and not a good protein source.

Turkey or chicken breast... ones that you have to cook.

Not the processed crap at the deli.

Check the stickies or online journals for meal ideas. Your preferences and lifestyle will decide that.

Tuna is ok, but in moderation. It has so much mercury in it. Things like; Chicken breast, eggs, cottage cheese, salmon, steak, lean hamburger are great protein sources just to name a few.

Outside of the 10lb butterballs at the Kroger, I was stumped trying to find turkey I could cook that wasn't loaded and mean LOADED with sodium.

Perhaps I'll just make a 10lb butterball then the wife and I will have a good protein source for a few days

See I would have thought so, thank you I thought I was dreaming. After exhausting my search I asked a fella that worked in the meat area and he looked at me like I had a dick on my forehead. Then he proceeded to tell me that such a thing doesn't exist blah blah, heres your options.

I was going to try another grocery store today or tomorrow in search of breasts and if not I'll just get the damn bird.

Whole Foods is in Michigan ... store locator. I've bought turkey breasts at wal-mart too so I know they carry some.
