What do you spend per week on food.

I need to hit the grocery store this weekend and was making my list last night and it quickly occured to me that I am certainly driving up the grocery bill with the amount of food I eat now.

Which of course made me think, I wonder what others are spending....

Around $70 a week. I just went shopping yesterday and forgot a few things.
After almost 2 weeks... I am back and better than ever.

I'd say we range in the $150 area between Costco and the grocery store.

$60-$100 depending on what kind of meats I'm getting for the week and if I need to restock certain things.

Perhaps we should also include how many people you are shopping for. I have three to shop for, thought he baby is just on formula and veggies. Hell the baby food is more than my food.

I have no clue how you guys/girls do it so cheap. I'm at $125+ minimum per and that's not including dining out.

I drop by often...check on all of u.

Ya, I really do spend a shitload on food. We hit Costco 2-3 times per month and come out $600-700 broker on a good day!

This does include toilet paper in a 3 female household, perhaps that why!

We ingest tons of meat(this is where most of the $$ goes), egg whites, CC, fresh fish and produce, organic and sprouted grain products...

I just spent $700 at costco yesterday and am cutting for a show at 2400 cals/day...so just try and imagine what my bulk was like!

Probably about 130 a week for my wife and me...not including eating out which lately probably surpasses that 130!!!

50 bucks a week if that. Ill buy 200 bucks worth of chicken when their on sale and that will last me a while. Oats, peanut butter, protein powder and eggs will go a long way for the price

Oh my gosh...us too on the eating out! Thankfully, the BF pays most of that since I cook us meals at home twice a week. The other nights (when he's not here,) he eats lean pockets

Not to sound like a total dork but I saw your story on BB.com about a month or so ago. Truly amazing. I started where you did and will look back about once a week to remind myself that I can do it! Is that stalking?

I average about 1000 a month between groceries and eating out, food is definitely my biggest bill.

I go shopping twice a week and spend about £40 on chicken, veggies, fruit, lean minced beef and sometimes steak. I buy boxes of oats/rice which i find are cheaper in the long run

Right on.. I spend about $75/week, plus supplements every three months. I try to load up when things are on sale (buy boneless skinless chicken breasts at $1.99/lb and freeze them, cottage cheese at $1.28/container six at a time, etc.).
