    Meal Time Spacing Question?

I typically like to space my meals at about 2.5-3 hour intervals. My post-workout meal (P.W.M.) consists of only Whey protein and simple sugars.

My question is, is it acceptable (after my P.W.M.) to follow up with a whole food meal only 1-1.5 hours after this so that I can get back on my ideal meal schedule? This assumes that a Protein shake and a glass of Hawain Punch digests much faster than typical whole foods (which I'm pretty sure is the case).

    Thanks

To replenish glycogen and ingest fast digesting protein. Maybe my question should be, what else should I be concerned with, nutritionally speaking, post-workout.

It is highly unlikely that glycogen stores were depleted.

Are you looking to cut, to bulk?

On a cut me personal I would use Protein, Yogurt, Oats, Berries, and Skim Milk.

I always followup with a healthy meal an hour right after the pwo. I was told by my trainer that this takes advantage of the "anabolic window" for growth. As far as what really happens or if this holds water, I dunno
