people who have chickens to mass produce eggs treat them horribly which drops their immune system which leaves them susceptible to bacterial infection and disease. the more known culprit is samonella. last i heard 1 out of every 10 to 12 chickens is infected with salmonella which is passed on to the eggs.
I forget which are better eggs but there is a difference between free range eggs and normal supermarket eggs. I believe the free range birds are treated a lot better and are less likely to contract opportunistic infections but its pretty much like playing russian roulette if you ask me.
imo, dont bother just cook them. why would you want to eat a raw egg anyway?
