Hey it's the new guy straining for topics.
Does anyone have an example of what they eat daily? Or does anyone watch it that closely? While I eat fairly well, that is my biggest hurdle right now. I know I could reach my goals if I would buckle down and get my diet lined out. But it seems there is no variety in most of the muscle building diets I see and with no variety I know I won't stick with it. |

In my bulking days, I don't watch my diet that closely, as I simpy make sure the protein and carbs intake are high (both good quality), and decent amount of fats. The only thumb of rule is that I avoid fast food, deserts, or any other low pro/carbs but high in saturated fat stuff.
If you want samples, go read the Online Diaries forum. There are lots of them, indicating what the fellow members consume daily ![]() ------------------ Work hard, play hard, and sleep well. |

I may be the only one who thinks this but as long as it's not a pre-comp diet, a bbing diet can have lots of variety. Pre-comp diets are the worst because not only are you limited in food choices, but flavour as well, i.e. no salt, sauces, ketchup, etc.
If you're bulking or even maintaining, you can have a lot of variety as long as it's not processed crap. There's even more leeway in terms of how you prepare things. For instance, I love oatmeal protein pancakes, but never eat them when I'm cutting. Do you use a cheat day or meal? I find that a cheat day or meal once a week really helps to keep me on a semi-clean diet the rest of the week. |
