Cascade Fresh is a good one. It also has a lot more active cultures than most.

Also not sold here. However, I do go to the health food store every two weeks for bread, and I know they have it there so I will get some Saturday. I think they may have the horizon one there too actually.

Dannon Light & Fit is sugar free. It uses sucralose.

See to me, that's not good enough because of the sucralose. The less sweetener the better IMO.

If it's for after a workout anyway why is there concern about sugars in the yoghurt? Which is natural sugars in a lot of cases anyway, I believe.

No it's not the sugar. I just try to stay away from all artificial sweeteners if I can

I bought some yogurt from Krogers that was like 3 carbs! Had a whole 10 grams of protein per cup as well.

Eat some meat. A good solid meal after a work out is the best feeling in the world.

I dislike cottage cheese, but the casein protein it has in it dominates all!

I found some casein protien powder for 20 dollars, so I was lucky. I mix it right into my peanut butter. I do actually like cottage cheese but for some reason I just cannot stomach it before bed...

I'd just soon use the protein powder as well. I had bought some real expensive shit. It was like a 12 hour casein powder! It even tasted good! But for 60 bucks for 4lbs its just not worth it!

I found this stuff at Atkins (which is a major chain) in Springfield. 20 dollars for 2.2 pounds and I only use about a half of a scoop, so it works out pretty good. But sometimes I just eat the cottage cheese. It actually comes out to about the same price as just buying the cottage cheese though.

Yeah, Springfield in Missouri. You should have known that. There are only like 30 springfields! But seriously, I would have thought they would have had an Atkins in St. Louis.

Dont know I never saw one. But I only went to college there for a few years. They had an Attilios right down the street, but I still never bought anything from them either. I purchased most of my stuff online.

Yeah, most of the sups from atkins are expensive. I don't get why there casein is so cheap... But I get bread there, and I get oat bran in bulk there really cheap. It's the atkins brand and I think it's 3 dollars for two pounds of oat bran.

Fat free, Sugar Free, Organic, Live Culture, and Plain.... best stuff ever for the post workout shake in my opinion. Who needs sugar and flavor in it anyway? Not when you're mixing it with oats, whey, skim milk, etc etc.

I got some Cascade Fresh today at the health food store. I know you've said to use plain, but what would be wrong with flavors? The nutritional value looks exactly the same.

Actually not to dig up old threads (but I did anyway ) I've been eating a lot of this lately with fruit in it. I never thought I'd like the taste of plain yogurt.
