fiberous carbs = green veggies
complex carbs = oats, sweetpotatoes, brown rice, etc...
i read many threads that says eat complex carbs the 1st half of the day and then, fiberous the second half, can some one elaborate on that. and as far as fiberous carbs, do you substact the fibers to get the actual carbs in the vegs? and most fibrous carbs (vegs) are very low in carbs and i tryed to add 40 grams of carbs and the quantity was too muchh!!!!

I understand that, so if that concept is correct...i should only eat vegs after midday...ok so my question is to complete my carbs for the day i have to measure the vegs..so do i have to subtract the fibers from the carb to see how much carbs i am actually consumig or does that not matter?
why not just keep things simple.
yes, you can subtract the fiber from your carb sources. For example, Oatmeal will have say 50g of carbohydrate and lets say 8 of those grams are fiber. You can count it as 42g of carbohydrate.
