    ATW Casein Powder

Anyone try this stuff out - how does it compare taste-wise to the whey? Looking for something for latenight - for some reason if I eat cottage cheese within 1 hour of going to sleep it hurts like hell.

Micellar Caseins 02lb - should have included that sorry

The stats are all good, was just wondering if anyone had tried it and how it was taste wise compared to their whey protein

I've never tried that kind but it don't look like a bad deal at all. I do have some Casein that I sometimes mix right into peanut butter before bed. I generally only use about a 1/2 scoop so it last a very long time.

How so? Isn't whey made from a whey (a bi product of cheese), and casein from milk? Whey is a fast absorbing protein while casein is a much slower absorbing protein so that don't even make sense to me.

It's great before bed if you don't like cottage cheese.

If you say so. You can probably buy much cheaper online. I am pretty lucky because there is a local store here that sells ON Protein for $25.00 for a 5lbs jug.

Seriously though, unflavored casein tastes like shit, but it's not that hard to neutralize the taste with things that don't taste like medicines.
