Just a little though. They're healthy but very cal/nutrient dense - 15 almonds is a little over 15 g of fats.

I don't really snack, but if i'm in a rush and don't have time to prepare or eat a full on meal i like to throw some hummus and sliced turkey/chicken in a small container and munch on that.

As far as nuts go, i eat mostly walnuts but peanuts and almonds are not out of the question. As has been stated watch how many you eat, they are very calorie dense. Handful works for me.

I'll sometimes have almonds as my fat source for a meal. Usually with a chicken or turkey breast and some veggies.

Walnuts on a salad with a vinegarette is awesome.

Yeah I like pecans too, just hard to find ones that aren't saturated with salt. I just wash them Pecans and almonds are the best to snack on I think. They have the best flavor, second to almonds of course. Cashews and peanuts are tastey but I think they're a bit too fatty.

According to the package of almonds that I buy, 15 pieces (15 almonds) is about 17g of fats.

Peanuts are fine. Cashews from what I hear are higher in carbs, lower in protein, and higher in saturated fats.

Not all almonds are created equal, I buy the raw ones, and they're bigger than the little roasted salted ones you'd find in the planters containers.

You can get them in the baking section at any grocer - unsalted.

Unsalted raw almonds are all I really eat unless I am in a pinch then I will get the unsalted trail mix out of the vending machine and throw away the raisins.

After almost 2 weeks... I am back and better than ever.
