Skinny Fat - What should i do ? *Pics*

    Hey guys.
    I am 5'10
    176 pounds
    24.6%bf
    LBM 135 pounds.

I am unsure on what i should do.
I was thinking i should cut to around 12-14%bf even tho i have no muscle and then clean bulk from there up.
Just because i am pretty high in % now that if i clean bulk that its gonna take me up to high 20's even tho i have added some mass.

I havent been lifting long on and off about 9 months.
Lifts arent that heavy pretty low actually due to having no muscle.

    What do you think ?

    Cheers

A cut and a clean bulk seems perfectly logical.

1st: Inconsistent lifting really won't have made much difference and for you to see any real progress, you have to stay dedicated.

2nd: It doesn;t matter how heavy the weights so long as they fit into the rep range you are aiming for, are as heavy as YOU can go, and maintain good form.

As for what to do, since you're relatively new to BBing, if you cleaned up your diet and coupled it with a solid program, you will initially burn fat and put on muscle.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Because u are new to the lifting game, a sharp diet and proper lifting program, coupled with 2-3 x week heart healthy cardio, would could benefit from "beginner gains" where ull see ure body fat decrease drastically, WHILE new muscle is built.

with effort, a good program, dedication, U could see some pretty amazing changes in yourself within 12 weeks or so

    Agree.

Don't try to bite off more then you can chew. Changes will take time. Work on being more consistent with your training, and implementing better eating habits, and you will begin to see the changes you are looking for.

And once in a groove, it's pretty hard NOT to get motivated to do bigger and better things with your diet and training.
After almost 2 weeks... I am back and better than ever.

Right on. The P man knows. The whole concept of 'cutting' and 'bulking' has mislead a lot of people. Eat well, but consume clean foods as unprocessed as possible, and stick with a good exercise program. Your body will respond, especially if you are new to training.
