Hi,
I was wondering if fat free yogurt is a healthy nighttime snack? I heard it isn't good to eat right before bed. How early do all you people eat your nighttime snacks before you go to bed? Or do you eat an evening snack? Thanks, Foodio |

Prince,
What's wrong with eating sugar late at night? Curious. Scotty the Body, Specifically, why wouldn't you eat yogurt late at night? I'm interested. Thanks. |

The sugar from they yogurt or any other fruit will spike your insolin levels and cause you to store it and since its right before bed and you won't be using the energy, you'll store it as fat.
Am I right here? Someone correct me if I'm not. ------------------ Just another day in the gutter |

Anytime during the day is fine. We are just saying it is not the best thing you can eat right before bed. Of course, if you're not trying to get lean it would not matter when you eat it. ------------------ Just because the majority believes it, does not make it true! |

arent shakes a fast absorbing protein source?
would it not be better to eat something that gets used at a slower rate? |

Speaking of which I had a fat free yogurt last night not too long before bedtime b/c I was starving and we were totally out of groceries except for all this high carb stuff. I would have had a shake but I dont have any and I got this new protein powder but it is WEAK. I could have had 1/2 of Adam's (that's honey) shakes but I don't feel filled up on those or sometimes I actually feel too full. Doesn't yogurt have a good amount of carbs in it?????
