How often does everyone go completely off their diet and go with a cheat meal? Or do you go with a whole cheat day where you eat what you want with no consideration?
I usually go with saturday as a more lax day, with dinner being my no care meal, chinese, pizza, etc... |

I have a cheat meal once a week where I just totally blow it and eat whatever I want, but only for that meal and then back to the ol carrot sticks and celery for snacks..
I think if you deprive yourself of a cheat meal or snacks, however you prefer to do it, you will lapse and fall back to the ol dirty eating habits...![]() |

Saturday's are also cheat days for me. I normally eat whatever I want all day long. The next day I get unbelievable pumps and I am extremely strong.

The only thing I do different on Saturday is (sometimes) add an extra meal. I usually consume it after drinking, but sometimes I don't eat anything after drinking.
If there's any day I do decide to bend the rules, it's Sat. I don't bend the rules on any other day, well maybe, but not often. |

I am currently in my third cheat week in a row. I feel like a fat pig. I've had huge meals, lots of alcohol, and tons of snacks the last three weeks. I feel like such a lard ass! It's not fault....wedding and honeymoon for two weeks, not I am just trying to get back to reality.

when bulking I don't worry too much about a cheat meal. I will eat a balanced diet through out the day and at the end will eat some icecream or pizza as long as I meet my protein, carb and fat needs for the day .

I usually just have one cheat meal, rather than an entire day. However, I think it's fine having a cheat day to eat whatever you want as long as you are strict the rest of the week.

Lo lo lo,
I find if you eat something you enjoy (that’s not healthy) only once in a while then you respect foods a lot more. For example, I eat pretty healthy and I really watch my diet a lot more than I used to. Now I’m noticing that I have more respect and liking for the foods I can’t have all the time, which makes me appreciate them more when I eat them, which creates a more enjoyable time when eating those foods. I have been trying to better with my diet... but this past week I have gone off the beaten path by snacking on bad stuff, I just had to chocolate and peanut cookies after lunch at work.....Oh God, it is soooooo hard. Just when I start to do better I get a mad craving!!!!! I am doing my best to behave. Me and honey's cheat night is every Saturday night, we have a bad meal... mine used to be everyday, not any more. I am trying to make better decisions in what I choose and get myself away from the bad stuff. Tonight I will be at work (it's cheat night) so it wont really be a cheat, just whatever the chefs make for us, unless its bad. Last night they made gnocchi (which is like this potato pasta- like dumplings) and spicy hot buffalo wings, I felt awful after I ate, but what am I to do????? Sometimes, we can have em make us something else, but there is this one chef I don't like. He acts like whatever they give us is the best crap on earth and is so anal about wasting stuff. What am I supposed to do bring food from home, what if they do make something that is good, or I do get a chance to get something healthier from the kitchen????????????? AAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! (that was a scream!)
