Post A couple of questions

How worried are you about eating carbs at night? I'll sometimes have lite bread, or wheat pasta, tortillas as part of my dinner, but I'm usually up for at least 3 hours after eating, I figured that isn't too bad.

Also, anyone tried using products like Carbolite bake mixes to make pancakes, waffles, muffins. They come out pretty good, each scoop of the mix has no carbs, no fat, and 24 grams of protein, 96 calories. I usually use 3 scoops to make waffles, pancakes. I'll add some bannanas and non-dairy, refined sugar free choc. chips to add some carbs.

My honey is always like "Don't eat carbs at night". Sometimes they are usually incorporated into my meal though, but I try not to eat too much... If I am going to eat bread or pasta I usually do it in the daytime, the carbs I eat at night are mainly from rice or drinking fruit juice. I haven't tried that stuff, but then again I don't really eat that kinda stuff, unless I am at a restaurant for breakfast and then I try to get nut and grain pancakes...

I eat carbs 3-4 hours before bed time.

Question

Hey,

I never knew they had grain pancakes. I know pancakes in general aren’t good for you. But are grain pancakes good for you?

Thanks,
