    Spreading Out Meals

I'm well aware of the consensus that spreading out small meals throughout the day is better than eating fewer, larger daily meals.

But what difference does it really make to fat loss?

I've been lazy the past couple months and eating about two large meals a day rather than spreading them out.

Would I actually notice a difference in weight loss if I followed the wisdom of small meals spaced throughout the day (same net calories as now of course)?

Yes you would. By eating more often your body gets into the habit of knowing it will get fed regularly, and tend not to hold as much fat.
