Are you diabetic?
Hello people
I am having my refeed day , very high on carbs, nearly zero-10 fats, moderate to low protein.
Just in case, i took my blood glucose after my meals.
Each meal was around 90-130 carbs ,consisting of cereals, bread, pitta sandwich etc, crackers. My blood glucose though was steady 10 minutes after those meals and the next hour. They were steady at 80-85 mg/dL.
Well i am really happy with that since it looks like im handelling my carbs really well.
Additionally when ever i increase my carb intake ( well in normal days , clean carbs) and lower my (more than needed) protein i get better pumps and leaner.
My fat percentage never exceeds 10 %.
I already had 4 high carb meals. I dont care , i ll probably continue the high carb meals until i sleep and get back to my normal routine from tomorrow morning.
I remember finding a research that higher carb days can boost thyroid where high protein and low carbs for prolonged time can decrease thyroid function.
Your ideas?
