If you are familiar with MS Excell please check out the spreadsheet I made and let me know your thoughts. You can download it HERE. It doesn't contain any viruses or the like but please use you antivirus software to scan it before opening. I would rather not have anyone accusing me of crashing their computer! Once you figure out how to use it you can set up your diet for the entire week and it will automatically tell you your total nutrients and percentages of each.
To use: Copy the entire item's line from the 'Foods' page, then insert into the appropriate column on the day/meal you are planning. As you add items the spreadsheet updates the numbers for you. The food bank is pretty bare right now. You can add your own foods to the list, just keep in the same formatt. I've added a few things just so you can see how it works. If you aren't that familiar with excell I suggest keeping a copy of the original 'just in case' and using another to play around with. Not sure this will help you guys but I tend to eat pretty much the same things so getting the food bank up to speed shouldn't be that big of a deal. It's an easy way to see if you are on track with your nutritional goals. What do you think? jchappj
Peace!

This is a great Spreadsheet. But it would be perfect if 1 of you excel gurus can make it so that there is a drop down menu under each meal so that the each preset foods or meals in the food database can be instantly selected and all values of that food/meal could be transferred.
For example say its Tuesday and I want to input my 1st meal which was 2 whole eggs, 1 cup oatmeal, and 3/4 cup milk. The values for each of these food have already been recorded in the food database section as well as the values of the combo of these foods as it is a standard breakfast for me. So to input these values it would be extremely easy if I can just type the number that demarcates the food or meal. So assume that the corresponding number for the entire meal above is A59, then in the daily menu typing A59 would transfer the description for this meal as well as its corresponding Macros. Alternatively a drop down menu where any food or meal from the database can be selected. Hopefully someone with some Excel experience can do this?? |

![]() Enter your items then save that slot as a "Fav meal". Then just enter it later from your saved meal list. B. |

No offense Biggle - I'm sure your software is great. But I'm looking for something like this very basic spreadsheet. I can actually use it quite well as is but it would be easier if someone can add the feature I suggested. And since I am flat broke this is really up my alley!
