    Shakes are for me :)

I love making protein shakes with oats. Is there a mix out there with not as much protein that I could use 2-3x a day? ON whey has 24 per scoop and I usually like two with oats and water. Hoping I could get under 15g per serving. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

if you're looking for a shake with more carbs/less protein, then i'd recommend muscle milk collegiate.

Are you making these shakes with the oats using a blender? I never liked blenders cuz they put so much air into the drink. I either use a wisk or a spoon...and I cant imagine a tasty drink with oats in there...

Oats is what makes it happen! I usually do it after my 2-3 sprinting cardio workouts.

Yeah, they have those at our training facilities now (actually brought it in along with the free gatorade milk shake protein shakes they have). Problem is they have too much unnecessary shit that a cutting man like me does not need. Haven't tasted them yet though...maybe after decemeber when I decide to bulk again.

I'd just put less protein in it myself, if you want it more tasty, add some fruit. I wouldn't buy lesser quality protein just for the reason to get your two scoops in.

I di exactly that 2 days ago. "Bio Core" was less than $28 dollars for a tub. Its not bad when you look at the supplement facts and ingredients, but I just did a 3 scooper of it with water..and theres no taste.

yeah, i need to stop relying on supplemants just based on the fact that they taste good...just one of those things. I'll get over it. I'll take it with me while im student teaching for a quick snack. I wonder how oats taste with whey using just a shaker container instead of a blender?

If I am running tonight, and planning on having a shake after then go to bed, is it a good idea to add the oats (carbs) before bed?
