Taste pretty much like oatmeal. I usually do not cook it, I just dump 1/3 to 1/2 cup in my plain NF yogurt; add a scoop of whey, some almonds and I am set for breakfast.

I am referring to raw oat bran. It cooks up like cream of wheat if that is what you mean.

If you want to eat it like cereal, I suggest you cook it first. I have cooked my oatmeal at night (to save time) and just added my whey with a little milk in the morning. With yogurt, I normally do not cook the oats; I just let it sit and soak in the yogurt for a half an hour while I go for a quick walk or bike ride.
